There may be harmless mites among them - saprophages, which is completely normal in springtail breeding and eventually occurs in most households and breeding setups. Various other microorganisms may also be present, which are commonly found in homes and breeding environments

All species are recommended to start at 10 count or higher for optimal breeding conditions.
