Passion. Community. Expertise
- Our Core Values -
To further the exotic community as a whole through a shared passion for animals and knowledge.
To provide the best customer experience throughout every aspect of buying and the years of keeping later.
To offer one of the most extensive collections to cater to every customer’s wish.
To build one of the most thorough care guides in the hobby that covers the lesser known niches in the community.

About Us
Ever since I was little, I was the child that was fascinated by nature and all of the small critters it held. As I got older I came to love the lesser known, and typically lesser loved, animals. I found a large niche of friends and second family at reptile expos and wildlife centers that I worked at as I built my collection of reptiles that began with my African Fat-tailed gecko in 2015. I married the love of my life in 2021 and our mutual love for animals helped grow our small family over the years.
As a sponge for knowledge, I started researching bioactive enclosures to better my care and with that, led me to fall in love with the lesser known hobby of isopods. As I researched how to care for these new species, I discovered that a lot of the information about these tiny beings was extremely spread out between different small groups of keepers. I began to build a care sheet to gather the information I was learning so I could reference it and realized that a care sheet like this was a community need.
About Our Family
Growing up and marrying into a veteran family, as well as serving myself, taught me the benefits of the sort of connections that can be made across the entire world and further benefit everyone involved. I worked hard to build close relationships and friendships across the hobby as I worked to centralize information regarding every aspect of the various hobbies. We started with isopods and springtails and grew from there, with plans to expand to as many categories of oddities as possible.
We aim to increase awareness and interest in the small exotic communities as a hobby including isopods, springtails, millipedes, tarantulas, etc. Since Forests of Asgard started in 2022, we have gone from a barely known company with minimal information to including hundreds of species serving hundreds of customers.

- creating our destiny -
My biggest belief is that success rides on the heels of collaboration. Bringing the brightest minds throughout the world to achieve the impossible. Through my mission to centralize information, i have made so many connections with those i would now consider to be my closest friends and even family. The passion of these individuals have connected us and allowed us to create a better community centered on sharing our expertise and bringing in new people.
Our goal is to expand that net of passion over all communities to make the largest successful collaboration to be seen. We believe by collaborating with those around us, we can grow as a team and grow those around us, making us stronger altogether.

For being the best mentors and friends anyone can ask for. I absolutely couldn't have made this happen without the support and brain powder from you all and I appreciate you all for putting up with my endless questions and worries.

My Amazing Family
For being there for me and supporting me in my endeavors even if they don't particularly share the same passion for the odd bugs that I do.
